In the US it is Austin, a four star general who served over 40 years in uniform and former commander of US Central Command. In China it is Li, who also happened to serve over 40 years in uniform and former commander of the Stragegic Support Force.
In Australia it is Marles, a lawyer and unionist with literally 0 years experience in uniform and 0 years experience in private sector.
No wonder the government spend hundreds of billions buy US weapons like it's Christmas, if you don't know what you're doing, just buy it, after all it is just taxpayer money.
How can Marles build a defence force with sovereign capability if he literally have 0 military experience?
