this in reference to waste from nuke subs.

yep I'm aware of the protocol. which is why nuclear countries have such a difficulty getting rid of their waste. no-one wants a nuke waste facility.

but we now have on in WA, fully licensed to take low level waste (LLW). its been operational for 12 months.

this provides the opportunity to make revenue from accepting global waste. but first the storage facility will need upgrading to accept high level nuclear waste.

this is a business opportunity as we have that space and geology and places without groundwater to store or recycle nuke waste.

Marles limits us by this blanket ban... most likely due to the moratorium that will have to be abolished if we are to have nuke subs.
