Interesting that this hasn't been mentioned since that drill hole (6 years ago). Now that they have a better understanding of the geometry (and genesis) of the orebody perhaps that idea has been put to bed.
One other thing is that the diagram shows a flat horizontal situation, as it would have been, but the geology is now dipping nearly vertical. Any vents might have been eroded off or sitting kilometres below the orebody.
Anyway, will look into it a bit further. Thx again.
