Agree with that.
Those who live close to a mining community see that the benefits far outway any negatives. There is usually only 1 degree of separation between anyone in the community and someone who either works in a mine, or benefits directly from the miners' wages.
But as often happens in interest-group politics, a vociferous minority can make a lot more noise than a less vocal but supportive community.
On that, I wonder whether Callington has a local cricket team, and if so, hope they are better than the footy players. :)
As I write, some strong buying in HGO... testing the resistance at 35 cents on 2m+ volumes...
