If someone has a negative opinion on something relating to gays its homophobic. A race or religion, its racist. A woman, its sexist.

Fine to have an opinion that might be negative as long as its not on these topics. Reality is most people are not homophobic, they are not racist, and they are not sexist, its just plainly an opinion.
