I am sure that this Marriage Act debate is of interest to some small minority groups and activists, but I'm yet to be convinced that it is should be given such priority.

One would think that the government should be dealing with legislation of greater concern to the economy and the welfare of the vast majority of Australians.

I am obviously out of touch with this new "paradigm".
