Lived in Darwin since 1977 and can certainly confirm that the dry season means almost zero rain, maybe a rare rouge shower for 5 minutes.

Unless because of global warming or some such the dry means pretty much until October when you will get occasional heavy showers, but not persistent and not enough to be a concern. But a warning that the wet is on the way.

BKP should have clear air until mid/late October to work. The only warning I might add is the GBasin might be more subject to weather patterns coming in from Qld side as well.
