speaking as someone who has lived in this part of Australia since the early 1980s, I can pretty much assure you the 'wet' has ended for this season and won't turn up in this (southern Georgina basin) part of Australia again until late September or early October 12 - and that is with an early start to the next 'wet'.
i.e. Management cannot use the 'wet' season as a reason not to get a rig on site, as they have at least a 5 month window of extremely dry weather before they need to worry about rigs getting stuck etc.
