the standup is sensational,kicking,striking and takedowns,throwing is 1/3 of ju jitsu and that is where kosen judo came from
brazilian ju jitsu is just ground judo,without the throwing and standup,the gracies just ran with the idea,they were taught judo,why takeout one of the best and most effective parts of judo,the throwing?
this is my sensei,now tell me he is not well rounded, ive been involved in this stuff for all my life,and he is the best i have seen,look at his resume

dont get me wrong,mui thai is sensational and probably the most effective standup,but to say jj isnt well rounded just isnt true,and mui thai cant grapple
