It is interesting about his 60 year cycle idea as 1949 was the only 20 cycle cycle that started a bull market in stocks rather than a more normal ending of one IMO.
I do wonder whether US equities could rally if commodities are in for a huge run.
It was one thing for the US market to shrug off high oil prices etc back in pre bear times but would seem unlikely now.
Certainly it would be better for Aussie markets more than US and as I mentioned before we could do the inverse of the post 1987 collapse where the US managed better than we did.
We won't always be a copy cat of the US market as we haven't always been in the past.
All the same I still don't see positive cycles for a few years.
