    This is a good man right man for the times an asset to the people of Australia.

    Martin ferguson was a buffer between the idiot faction of the ALP and the mining industry. He helped guide Australia through the GFC with a sensible approach to the mining sector, and we all know the mining sector provided great assistance to us during those times.

    He will be a loss to the parliament not just his party.

    I wish him all the best in retirement.
