not so bad The thing that people are forgetting is that this is a RIGHTS ISSUE to existing shareholders. It is much better than other companies that just do a placement and dilute the existing holders. Yes it is underwritten, and yes there will be a shortfall which is a cheap price. At least it gives the company some certainty.
Now I understand that some people won't want to take up their rights and they are effectively diluted, however this is an individual CHOICE that they make.
I can only expect that post the close of the rights issue that the price will jump, which is pretty come to most of the stocks the MPS support.
I can only say that I'm at least happy that I get to participate in the new equity issue rather than be diluted like most other companies do.
