Doogs, the way I look at this short term is as follows.

If WHN get positive results from seismic data this should rerate the sp up. And if the results are encouraging enough for major oil companies to want to engage in farm-in discussions. Then the sp should deserve a rerate. You would think this would be substantial.

I hold a number of precious and base metal explorers that are at a similar stage of exploration as WHN, (i.e. successfull initial results, substantial monies required to prove up a resource). Some of these companies have mkt caps 5x than of WHN.

I know you can't really compare the two directly, but it does give some food for though.

5 x 5c = 25c = $245 mkt cap. Some may say that's a big stretch given where we are today.

But what's a billion barrels of oil worth? Around a $100B. The royalty stream off that would be enough to keep us all in clover for years to come.

And I haven't even considered the positive implications of having the Government as a key shareholder.
