Martis, if the world financial markets crash , as some are fortelling, the only really safe bets are physical gold or large producers. The safest for mine is ZAUWBA's and next NCM or LGL and a few others. If the company isn't producing enough gold to be self funding forget it. I have noticed lately even the best of the gold producers have taken a hit. I would expect this trend to continue in the short term until the POG takes off big time. Good oppertunity to buy quality now.
