The 8.6 year Armstrong cycle has fixed dates but works also from all major lows. It is made up of 6 legs. The first and last are twice the size of the others and forms a H&S type pattern.
The first leg up from the 2009 bear low topped out EXACTLY on the SPX top this year.
The next leg should be down till 26/05/2012.
Below I have the presidential cycle for 2012 and guess where the low is.
