I would like to add to my post that "each to their own in these type of markets - no-one really knows and yes they could be nearly unprecedented times" - I wasnt really meaning to knock the chartists either - they do have a role but i was wanting to highlight the retained earnings idea also especially as it is significant - i.e. pe of 13 to 15 for market and div yld of 2% makes retained earnings of easily over 3% per year -
