while everyone focusing on Merkel-Sarkozy-Trichet meeting last night, I believe Wayne Swan was secretly involved via video conferencing as well. The reason I am saying is pasted below from forexstreet.
"A proposal to tax eurozone banks to help reach a Greek debt deal is taking shape as the central pillar of a new bail-out programme, according to officials involved in negotiations ahead of an emergency European summit on Thursday. It is thought that around E50bn may be raised with E71bn new bailout loans from EU & IMF."
