They've got themselves a commercial find frm the upper sands so can't b bad. Besides, there's no water cut associated with the oil/gas. The gas cap basically is complimentary to the oil (simple gravity principles) & IMO would b flared off by the operator, once they commence commercial production in time, as is the norm when using a floating drillship to store the oil.
PBR r using the FPSO drillship Avare nxt doors at Tiro. What's more imp. for now is that the flwrate was stable at 4000+ bopd, hence the rationale behind drilling M#2, 4.8 kms NE of M#1 later this month.
Hopefully by Q3 they would have annc'd their farmin partner.
More interested in a bigger slice of the pie, Jaragua i.e, which has a 50% CoS & has twin reservoirs lit up like a Xmas tree on the seismics, obviously drilling will confirm this.
Meanwhile COP's EPBC applicn is still being assessed by the WADMP. Hopefully once they get the approval, they'll finalise a rig thereafter & get on with the drilling.
