My understanding is a decision will be made sometime around the 7th or 9th Sept (dont remember the exact date). Labor dont have the support from opposition but the greens can provide the neccisary support to pass which will now be negoiated.
Mr Brandt "By expanding coal and gas past 2050, Labor will suck investment and labour away from critical minerals, green steel and green hydrogen."
There terms are exactly what Grant wanted with no Gas however the Greens other criteria is that the public gets their return on investment through getting back what they put in.
To the negotion table hopefully we get a favourable outcome looks like it is going to pass
