Like wafflehead I find that I spend my best time in the wilderness. That feeling of being alone and a bit vulnerable works well with me.

Interestingly (to me) this bloke seems to be pointing to the meeting of requirements at various levels to be very much in our own control. For example we don't have to be super rich, just satisfied with what we have.

I know that in my relationships with my grandchildren, it is not the toys or the computer games or the cloths or any of the things that I buy them that they remember most; it is the time that I spend with them that they remember most. And it is debatable as to whether they get more out of this time than I do.

Maslow's ideas are the ones that I remember most vividly in our "Educational Psychology" course.
