IMO the risk was always there, no one is going to be happy with a large upfront payment if the trials aren't successful. No matter how big the deal was today the company will be worth nothing if the trials aren't successful. NEU are capturing maximum value if and when the trials are successful which for me shows that they are very confident on trial success.
