I agree Singapore has done well.
They are are fortunate to have well-educated leaders who are business minded and their grip on power is not extreme, unlike some of Singapore's neighbours.
I am guilty of saying right leaning parties will cause trouble as I am speaking in the context of threads here that bash the left in Australia.
Of course there are many examples of all shades of government failing, but we can't solve the world's problems on HC--maybe Australia is enough for now.
I think we all agree humans are flawed, but I suppose, provided they are not psychopaths, we can live with that.
