We can reopen in a few months when there is no more new infections.

Note, the virus can not live within an infected person forever: it is either killed by our immune system or it kills the patient, within those 14 days of being symptomatic.

We are now winning the battle against this virus (due to our lockdown and social distancing). At the moment, we are down to less than 100 new cases each day. A few more months and we will be down to zero.

Then, we can reopen and do what the Chinese, S Korean and Taiwanese are doing: quarantining all arrivals by air for a minimum of 14 days. This will stop the spread within our community.

Our exports and imports will go on as normal.

Our cafe, pubs and clubs will reopen as normal. Our businesses will continue as normal.

The only difference between us and the European/American/Africa is, we will not have any new infections.
