It's terrible to watch one in a thousand die, even one in a million. However, in most Western countries ten per thousand die every year, This doesn't justify a lockdown. Will locking us up slow the spread? Yes, but the suffering outweigh the benefits. It'sd like ordering all cars off the road, or making us drive at 5 kph to prevent road deaths. Some moretality is an inevitable part of life. This is not the Black Death, Chinese statistics notwithstanding.
