Gee, if only the poms had voted for the party that was going to be tough on these animals and start deporting them. Although like in most western places the vote was totally gipped so I guess elections are pretty pointless at this stage of the endgame. Ideas and beliefs have consequences and the same thing will happen here if people keep voting for LibLab (or whatever the franchise equivalent in your country is).
