Unfortunately, the medical and legal profession have this in common. There are millions of patients that need run of the mill operations that would allow them to return to a normal life. But these are not done. But if there is a case where a person was born with three arms, two heads, etc, then all the experts are rushing to go in. They contact the media and it hits the news and they make a feel-good special about it. Don't get me wrong, you have saved a life which is fantastic, but would you have done it without the cameras and the notoriety that obviously follows because you have been in the team of surgeons who separated the siamese twins.
What about following the stories of companies that have built communities around them like OXR and AVM and RSG and many others. Why isn't aunty out there. WHy doesn't Slater and Gordon sue the Congolese governement. THat is right -they have buckleys chance so they go after the Canadian/Australian company that is working there.
