    Accumulation occurs at the bottom of a downtrend, and pre-empts a trend reversal.

    It consists of ultra high volumes within narrow spreads or price ranges.

    Distribution is similar but occurs at the top or peak of uptrends.

    Accumulation/distribution is very easy to spot, and lets u know the big boys are moving in or out of the stock...very reliable signal.
