New Conductors Identified at Erayinia from DHTEM Survey
HIGHLIGHTS:
• Delineation of new conductors in at least three holes (“offhole conductors”) below the existing mineralised lens at King.
• The King offhole conductors are stronger than the existing mineralised lens and present new drill targets.
• There is a clear correlation between the DHTEM and massive sulphides at the existing mineralised lens at King.
• Continuity of conductors at the intersected massive sulphides at King has been confirmed.
• The existing lens at King is plunging southwards and remains open.
Project Background
The Erayinia project (JV with Great Gold Mines NL) area is located about 150 km east south east of Kalgoorlie, within an Archaean greenstone belt at the southeast margin of the Yilgarn Craton. Exploration carried out 13 to 14 years ago identified copper-zinc mineralisation in a possible volcanic-massive-sulphide (VMS) environment. Exploration to date has confirmed the discovery of a Volcanic Massive Sulphide zone of potential that extends over an estimated 40 km strike length. A total of 25 drill targets based on geophysical and geochemical anomalism (E1-25) have been identified over the 40 km strike length at Erayinia. More recent exploration has confirmed VMS mineralisation at King (E1), the size and economic potential of which is to be determined.
King Prospect – Down Hole Transient Electro Magnetic (DHTEM) Survey
ABM Resources NL (ASX Code: ABU) has received the report of the recent DHTEM survey at King Prospect from our geophysical consultants. The report requires further assessment to fully integrate the DHTEM survey with the drilling completed to date.
The report states:
“A number of weak to strong EM anomalies have been detected. Maxwell modelling of the data has provided a reasonably well constrained package that is plunging moderately to steeply southwards.
There is clear correlation between the intersected TEM conductors and massive sulphides (iron sulphides). A number of sizeable offhole conductive sources could be observed at well beyond 100 metres from DHTEM logged holes.
In addition, there are offhole anomalies that are of interest for follow up work in holes EC/D 43, 55 and 57, amongst others where conductive sources could be observed at well beyond 100 metres from (the) DHTEM logged holes.”
The current assessment is that the DHTEM survey was successful in showing continuity of conductors (massive sulphides as intersected by drilling). It also has shown the presence of correlatable conductors “below” (offhole) the drill intersections. That is, conductors that correlate with massive sulphides. These offhole conductors are stronger than the existing mineralised lens and present logical drill targets.
Further discussions are scheduled this week with our geophysicist consultants. The objective is to prepare for the next diamond drilling program and commence drilling as soon as possible.

ABOUT ABM RESOURCES NL: 2
The company has a portfolio of base metal (zinc, lead, copper) projects located primarily in Western Australia. The conceptual exploration framework of the company is focused on delineating major mineral discoveries.
The primary exploration focus is the substantial region-scale Volcanic Massive Sulphide (VMS) base metal project at Erayinia located in Western Australia. ABM Resources also holds interests in another three base metal projects, Gascoyne, Earaheedy and Harbutt Range in Western Australia.
ABM Resources entered into a formal Cooperative Agreement with AYR Infrastructure and its subsidiary Ayr Resources Africa in May 2007 with the objective of securing high quality gold and other mineral projects in selected countries in Africa with a view to outlining significant mineral deposits. Ayr Infrastructure
Development (AID) is a global consulting and development organisation developing sustainable infrastructure in the emerging markets around the world.
