given the extremely favourable terms in regards the Whitbank purchase I would be extremely surprised if it didn't go ahead.

and as for the other projects I just think they are trying to develop economies of scale.

I wouldn't worry about the buyers, pulling out they are just evaluating the announcement the same as everyone else and once the realise its nothing to worry about they will be back.

the most important thing is now we have a timeframe and either way they will have a significant coal presence in South Africa, which will move the company forward.
