Look, most Taiwanese I know do not want a war against Mainland China. It would be like brothers and sisters fighting against brothers and sisters.
The "Taiwan card" is just a political leverage used by the US, to extract concessions.
Joe and Nancy does not give a damn about the welfare of Taiwanese (the same with all the trolls on this forum). In fact, I doubt Joe and Nancy would be able to speak a sentence in Chinese. And the same for all the trolls on this forum, who pretend they are concerned about Taiwanese welfare, yet have never met a Taiwanese in their life.
And even if the Taiwanese was in charge across all of China, the attacks would continue. But it would be for different reasons.

So they bring out the old trope like CCP this and CCP that.
Its basically a reflection of their own Fears.
For me, I just hope the leaders of both Mainland China and Taiwan can see through the games (the baiting) being played and resist the temptation to respond.
