It's a sad thing to see - unfortunately gold just doesnt pay like nickel. 1% Ni = 12g/t Au - this means most of the Kambalda jnr producers are mining ounce-dirt plus.

Throw in the complexities of narrow-vein orebodies, somewhat shoddy management, and distance from services...

IMO You need a massive Granite-style orebody to make it worth your while in that part of the woods...

But hey, what would I know either??
