There are two kinds of Freedom:
-There's "Freedom from" (this is what the demonstrations are about)
-And there's "Freedom to" (nobody demonstrating about this)

"Freedom to" means access to and as wages stagnate and in many cases recede,
the average Aussie (the silent majority) simply does not have the Freedom to:
    -buy a comfortable home
    -have a decent holiday
    -buy a new car
-bring up a family without both parents working 50 hrs each a week
    etc etc.

Not everyone has the intellectual capacity/privilege to join the Middle Class
professions and automation & global outsourcing is putting downward pressure
on take home wages while the cost of housing and living increases by at least 2% P/A.

IMO the taxation of Multinationals and the Uber Rich would position the Government
to offer tax relief to those on wages lower than $80K P/A without impacting negatively on the economy.
In fact it would have a positive economic outcome with a higher level of discretionary spend by
the average working class Aussie. The RBA Governor has mooted that recently.

IMO, if we want to demonstrate, then why not demonstrate about something economically
worth while which will have an enduring effect on the average Aussie.

    Where has Aussie mateship gone?
