There is never enough money to feed peoples expectations. Neither govt can fix everything and i think there is an over optimistic expectation on them. Their only way is to tax people into the ground and that means a recession and a major social political response. We actually witnessed that at the election. Shorten did not have the answers, only taxes and more govt control.
Both sides need to get with the program but politics is more divided than ever before. The press don't help either as half of them are on the bias ideological or financial payroll. We saw this with their polls and articles.
Labor like to own or pretend to own education and health. That is just marketing as both sides of govt don't have a choice on those two issues. Its not like the Coalition closes all the hospitals and schools. That is just silly stuff.
Gillard spent $12.7billion on schools and the average mark didn't budge. This is because it didn't go to where it needed to go. $1 million dollar tuck shops was a good way to spend money after all.
