Well, that was about the worst of all possible scenarios.

They didn't even drill deep enough to find the source of the gravity anomaly.

Hope some of you sold some on the way up. I was fortunate to get in early enough, sell some on the way up and make a profit by doing so, but commiserations to those that are holding a loss.

On the upside - they still have a chance of finding an IOCG discovery with some positive indications from the drilling, however indications are it may be some time before they drill it again. With no other projects offering any blue sky we may see AAO drift back to the low teens. I also would not be surprised if they announce a new acquisition soon as they announced earlier they were assessing some and raised money to acquire new properties.
