That little paragraph has been present on the NEU website since shortly after the positive PMS Phase 2 result was announced over 12 months ago now... I had always presumed it was related to enquiries from families of patients on the trial or others with PMS who saw the results. We investors are frustrated at the delay in commencing the phase 3 trial I can only imagine the frustration of those families actually living it every day.
Not too much longer now I hope. IMO it is an absolutely massive milestone for NEU because not only will it inform trial costs and patient numbers etc it will likely set a precedent for set-up of future trials in other indications for 2591. I have to say I don't quite understand the discussion about NEU "going it alone" for PMS phase 3 that keeps popping up from time to time in other threads - to me it is crystal clear that in the absence of a knockout bid we are definitely going it alone. Interesting times to say the least!
