The current Labour government is a joke and has about as much vision as a scrub worm, to people that agree with the mining tax--- Try living in a mining town if this pathetic tax goes through, the big companies such as Rio, Bhp and Fmg have been the main drivers of local infrastructure projects in towns such as Tom Price, Karratha Port Hedland, not only that they employ many indigenous people who if it wasn't for them could be on the dole maybe sitting around drinking emu export all day.

The government has been the slack ones over the years reaping all the royalties and putting bugger all back into the towns.

It's all right for Rudd and his cronies to carry on like pork chops in Canberra and the likes, using the profits of the mining industry to get themselves out of the sh!t. He is nothing but an incompetent git who should only last one term if the majority of aussies have half a brain.

The mining industry was the main reason Australia as a nation got through the GFC basically unscathed. Cant they see it?? Sadly the average joe blow in suburbia probably cant either.

Im afraid if this tax goes through it will be the slow death of an industry that has been the heartbeat for australia for so long.

Massive implications for Australia as a whole if it goes through im afraid. Wake up Australia!!
