It is sour grapes for sure. But I think I bought it at the best time ever for a growth company. Sadly that time is ending and we are at the top of the cycle looking at all the parameters. ( I know Buffet has made a few mistakes this cycle, but being the GOAT, has been a net seller for 4 consecutive quarters and, that happened in 2008 and 1999: I take that as not a good sign) WZR has not moved its share price at all. I still made a profit, but as the title suggests it is an opportunity cost as any other good company would have moved the share price 2X like most of my other investments.
What is the end game of WZR? This is not going to be Afterpay sort of thing. Its only differentiator is arguably the app, but it is certainly not a game-changer. It says it only lends to the prime customer, but I think it restricts growth rather than a positive attribute unless we are worried about mass scale defaults.
