Use of capital clearly explained at the time:
1. More than 50% of it is for increasing debt ceiling for loan book growth.
2. Other capital is being used for tech investment from what they say, as well as bringing new products to market, which will expand TAM and increase their growth trajectory.
3. Inside the second box, they clearly state use of funds will be to increase customer base, which I would imagine a big brand campaign fits right into. Hence the Olympics campaign was clearly indicated to market, got the support from shareholders, and they have simply done exactly what they said they were going to do.
No company is perfect, and I agree they've made some mistakes - but flat out lying just takes away all your credibility in the discussion pal.
