my apologies for the bold ... no I don't short stocks as I'm a value investor... I had been in Sirtex and sold out prior to Sirflox results as the SP had traded up to include for positive results ...
on the recent pull back I was looking at entering however the directors selling of a large portion put me off... my gut feeling ended-up being correct... (read my prior posts I raised this concern prior to announcement)
To buy now would mean
- full faith in the CEO (I cant see how anyone could)
- the growth decline was a minor bump (losing out to competition is a concern)
- trial results will be positive... For me this is the X factor as it negates point 1. and will propel point 2.
I'm not a betting man. To rely on point 3 is a 50/50 call... this is why I sold out prior to Sirflox results.
This is my opinion only... there are many out there including the analysts who had the stock valued at $25-45 prior to announcement...
