my prediction is that your property will be worth less than iot is now within a couple, but if you've chosen your shares widely you should be at least even then. sold most of my property 1 - 2 years ago. could it buy back at at least a 30% discount now. think it's only the beginning pf the property downtrend. owning property to live in is ok i think, but buying investment property in current conditions appears to b somewhat suicidal' but there will always be a few buyers 'cause they think they snapped a bargain.
think that mostly happens because lots of people are very keen on overvalued and think it's cheap when it drops only a little bit just before the bubble bursts quickly.
never really thought about it this way, but basically the housing been gong down with quite acceleated speed.
buying property now would lust seem to me like someone attempting to buy a big, sharp falling. knife.
