Remember this, not only is it good practice to pick a great bullish stock with good earnings, it is advisable to calculate percentage return on capital invested as risk on, risk off.
A share at $9.85 for 100% gain = $19.70. So 50,000 shares x $10 = $500,000 dollars profit.
Invest in a stock at $1 / $500,000 dollars = 500,000 shares. So 500,000 shares x $1 = $500,000 dollars profit.
The share to double your same outlay has only $1 dollar to double instead of $10 dollars. If the upcoming stock has the protential of growth as A2M did two years ago, then I know where my money is going.
