ha ha, in an ideal world you'd be right. There is an upside that the easyish 25 mil from private equity has lifted confidence and thus the sp. I have seen a lot of share purchase plans cap the sp for months sometimes years.
I sold out after the announcements but held on the spp holding date. My fingers are crossed that there is no fine print preventing me from participating. Its the first time I have played it this way in a spp so I am a little nervous I wont get to join in.
I have heard of some guys who hold onto literally 1 share (or whatever a minimum holding is these days) in every company they have ever owned so that they can opt in on any future spp offers, messy but effective I guess.
