COI will be a honey pot . ( that’s a bear reference lol) We aren’t far from significant value realisation. Was listening to firetrail fund managers and one thing they discuss is the massive cost blow out in all new traditional and renewable energy projects. This essentially highlights two things for me - Comet is a low capex , low risk project , a huge plus in this environment but renewables will face increasing economic pressures as all resources focus on the same area , engineers in short supply, materials is short supply , labor in short supply so this renewable story will have many delays and hiccups. However what is missed is that as renewable energy becomes a bigger part of the mix, the back up energy to smooth out the variability has to come from gas as coal will be progressively phase out. It is nicely put at the industry needs to mature to the reality . In the end economics beat ideaology and blue skies
