on the grounds of efficiency and CO2 reductions the clearedge offers little benefit over grid power and therefore it shouldnt really be compared with the bluegen. I dont know but i doubt that the clearedge would not qualify for an equal FIT? If so then it might need considering. In any case it is a real concern because the heat output of the clearedge is inline with the needs for domestic space heating during the long cold winters. blue gen only delivers enough heat for 250L hot water per day. I might run some numbers to compare the economics based on FIT of 15c and 3c, current gas prices and current mchp unit costs............
Anyway im sure the big coys have done their analysis and want a piece of cfu.
