The BlueGen was eligible for a FIT in the UK (and Netherlands) but the announcement due next week will improve the economics for anyone planning to install a unit.
Current FIT is 10p per KWH generated plus 3 for every kwh exported. Back in November the mCHP industry submission asked to raise the FIT to 15p per kwh generated and it sounds like this document has done the trick with the Minister. http://www.cfcl.com.au/Assets/Files/20111111_Micro-CHP_component_UK_energy_strategy.pdf
So if the 15p is confirmed and Bluegen cranks out 13,000 kwh per year, that'll be £1950 back to the owner plus extra for whatever they've returned to the grid.
