Thanks Dac - When I heard Obama this morning talking about how we was going to halve the debt by the end of his first term I immediately thought he will devalue the $.

Can someone explain to me what will benefit from a USD devaluation. Most things are pegged against the USD so surely a devaluation makes commodities double in price. Does this mean that share prices for commodity producing stocks will go up or will it just remain the same ?
