On a more serious note check production cost genius. 0 - 90m PLS is 200/ton. Tianqi at Greenbushes is at 300m depth so higher MC.... So just like BHP / FMG we are in the lowest quartile of production. So if PLS goes under then every other lithium producer on the planet is also bankrupt.
Spot price diagrees with your comment about abundance. But hey do not let the facts get in the way of your message....
Difference between rare earths and lithium is demand is apparent and obvious with no substitutes. I could never get my head around who was really buying rare earths and there appeared to be multiple subsititutes. Worst each rare earth deposit needs a customised solution to extract the materials that is costly and takes a huge amount of time to perfect = Lynas.
