I remember now - there was a grant to look into using MST tech with a sniper rifle - way long ago - but it was decided that the sealing problem was insuperable at that time. I wonder whether that would still hold today - the advantage the snipers wanted was the ability to put three rounds down before recoil ensuring a target would be "made inoperable".
