Thanks to @minoil, we have been enlightened about MAT having a nice sized tenement position near Parabudoo.
And not only that, a good chunk of the tenement apparently runs across the Hardey Formation - the same formation that has been responsible for the powerful rise in ARV and HEG.
Minoil also informed us that MAT applied for the license in June 2016.

This raises the following questions:
Why did MAT apply for this dirt well before conglomerate gold became part of the vernacular?
What did they know that others didn't? (Don't forget David Lenigas wasn't involved with ARV in June '16 and Purdy's Reward was first mentioned in an ASX report in Nov. '16).
Why hasn't PP revelaed this tidbit to the market to garner interest?
When will MAT tell the market about it?

The first 2 questions and the last question I won't even attempt to answer, however I will have a crack at the 3rd question.

The only reason I can think of is that perhaps PP doesn't want MAT to be perceived as another "conglomerate gold wannabe" when the main focus of MAT has been the hard work involved in building a regional footprint at LC and transitioning to producer status.

If this is indeed the case, I can understand his conservatism and admire his stance. However, as a largish MAT shareholder, I consider the Hardey Formation tenement material information and I would like to see a report outlining the status of this tenement and any background/relevant information that would perhaps shine some light on its prospectivity.

This week we had the excellent Red October acquisition. Next week, we could have news on multiple fronts.
