Todd Energy Starting Seismic Study of Offshore Matariki Prospect
March 23 (Bloomberg) -- Todd Energy Ltd., the biggest New Zealand-based oil company, will carry out a seismic study of its offshore Matariki prospect next month, Otto Marine Ltd. said in a statement.
Todd will pay $2.7 million for the work by Otto unit Reflect Geophysical Pte. Matariki is adjacent to the OMV AG- operated Maari oil field and has the potential to hold 100 million barrels of oil. It is 20 percent owned by Cue Energy Resources Ltd.
